To celebrate the return of the Lindisfarne Gospels to the region, a group of artists with a wide range of skills will be exhibiting their work at NeST Gallery in Barnard Castle. There will be plenty to do organising this event - hopefully everyone will enjoy the hands on experience of showing their work and being involved in such a wonderful project. The deadline for work to be submitted will be in early July in order for the gallery vetting panel to consider each artist's work in good time and hopefully without undue pressure.

The exhibition is open to all art forms - sculpture, printmaking,textile design, film, photography,poetry,painting etc.

An initial meeting was held last Thursday at NeST, Barnard Castle for any interested parties, and I am pleased to say it was a great success. As you can see the coffee was going down well too!
